Fishing is boring! What sports angler doesn’t know this short, exclamation mark-laden statement that can only come from a complete ignoramus? Coming from a person who has only seen a fish cut into squares on a plate or eaten it from a crimped tin can?

As an avid reader I would have to say this is one of my favorite books of all times. This writer captured me from his first words. Growing up myself working at an bait and tackle store working from the age seven to 45 years later as a diver this writer pulled it all together for my on more than just fishing, but life itself. I hope to one day meet this writer in person and have a beer with him. He gets nothing, but 5 stars from me! I am looking forward to the print version in the USA.Product details

This book marvelously describes the author's experiences and endeavors in sports fishing and finally puts to rest the longstanding myth that fishing is somehow boring.
Well, after reading this book, I am convinced it is not. He goes into detail about his personal fishing experiences chapter-by-chapter and along the way, offers enlightening advice and tips for beginners, while at the same time still appealing to seasoned sports anglers who can definitely relate to his experiences. Besides vividly describing everything about fishing from the tackle to be used to techniques as well as certain conditions and factors that one should pay attention to, the author also offers a few, special, delicious recipes along the way.
Definitely a recommended must-read for anyone interested in what a typical day for a sports fisherman consists of.
Very cozy read! Highly recommended!
A great read into the excitement of Fishing. Even if your not a Fisherman (or woman) you'll enjoy reading this style of description and adventure as though you were there!!!
