I wanted to like this ebook. I really tried. Lizzie Lynn Lee has many titles released. She seems to be a 'seasoned' author, but this short story left me perplexed. Why the huge info dump at the beginning? And why the abrupt ending?It could be great with a little reworking. I'm not an expert by any means, but I know a short can remain short and still be wonderful. It just takes fine-tuning.
Five stars on the beautiful cover!! Art should catch a potential reader's attention and the cover of Faerykin definitely did that for me. It was the reason I downloaded this title.

This story is a great deal mire simplistic than her Shunga Chronicles but that does not detract from its own charm. The recurring theme of doing anything for power once again makes an appearance in this format versus the heriones willingness to selfsacrifice for her people and her love. The writer maintains her fast paced action in this short story but some might regret a lack raunchines in this effort. It works for me.
I was immediately turned off by her use of evil to describe the man she is running from. We ought to get to know him and see why she thinks this. For a complex story she should turn out to be mistaken or wrong and admitt that she has other reasons for rejecting him and maybe he isn't too thrilled with her either.

A faery queen on the run from an arranged marriage and meets the man she really wants to be with. I with the ending and really the middle would have played out as long as the beginning.
Great read and sexy as all get out...
My only real criticism was the abrupt forced ending, this book should have been longer. It warped up the plot too quickly.
